June 25th 2022
In the woods of Leipzig, Germany
20-30 international participants,
age 18 or above
20€
What do you get?
You get a one-day event that starts at lunch time and ends whenever we want to stop playing. During that time, you'll receive two fully vegan meals, snacks and access to a bar where you can purchase additional alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to be paid at the end of the larp. Beforehand, you'll receive pre-written character concept and access to a platform where you can connect and plan with the other players (which we highly recommend you do).
Accomodation

You will not receive accomodation. However, we have a deal with a hostel in the center of Leipzig that will host you for a special price if you want to. Sign up to that will go through the organisers. It'll cost 18€ a night and you'll be in a spacious room with 3 to 5 other participants of this event!
You are free to find your own accomodation of course! Trams and busses in Leipzig go all through the night and shared cab rides are reasonably priced, so it shouldn't be a problem for you to get where you need to go.

You can read more details about the accomodation deal on this page (link).
Dates & Possibilities

The larp itself will be one day and one night, depending on how long you want to play. We highly encourage you to arrive early or leave later and spend the weekend with us in Leipzig (enough to write it in bold letters!) – it's a beautiful city and honestly, 50% of why we're doing this larp is because we want to show this gem to international people. It's an alternative city full of subcultures and beautiful stories, charming bars, lots of culture and history. And we would love to spend some more time with you all and show you around! The accomodation deal with the hostel counts for as many days as you want to stay, so seize this chance and get to know a new place rather than just passing through!
So in all honesty, the larp itself is only a part of what we want this to be. We want this to be a weekend filled with friendship and getting to know more people, with adventuring in a foreign city and having fun together. If you sign up, please do consider staying a few days extra and joining for it, we'd love to spend time with you.
What we expect from you

-
That you have read our Code of Conduct and agree to it.
-
That you will read or listen to our Design Document before the larp starts. This has a very practical reason – we don't want to spend most of our time briefing you on a document we can give to you beforehand. There will be a briefing on location but it'll be minimal. So instead, we'll provide the Design Document in written and audio form so you can go through it beforehand. We also highly encourage you to engage with us and the other participants before the game on the participant platform to get the most out of your experience. Most information is already on this website but we'll release a Design document in the end of the 2021 latest.
-
That you are an active part of planning this larp, your character and your experience.
We know that this is not for everybody and that is okay - but this time, we want to share that burden and fun with our players. Organisers are doing a lot of labour for free so others can simply come and enjoy their weekend with as little prep as possible. For this larp, we want you to actually be present in the months or at least weeks before the larp. We want you to talk to your fellow players and plan your relations. We want you to actively contribute to this larp.
It is not much we ask, we're not asking you to co-organise. We are just asking you to engage with us and not ghost us until the larp happens. ;)
-
Now the shocker: We ask that you bring your own dishes. This means: A cup, a bowl and cutlery. We know, audacious.
SIgn up Process

To attend this larp, you need to apply for the participant pool. That one will be open until November 1st, after which point we will run a lottery on who gets a spot. We will, for that lottery, watch out for a diverse player group, so some amount of handpicking will happen.
After the players have been picked, they receive a list of all participants and people on the waiting list, and get a chance to communicate if there are any personal or general safety issues. We will retain the right to remove players that have been deemed unsafe but we will do so responsibly and with communication to everyone involved.
Casting preferences & payment information will go out after sign up. Since the participation price is pretty damn low, payment in installments won't be possible.
Refund policy

If you cancel after December 2021, so any point in the new year, you will not get a refund. The reason for that is that the ticket price is already pretty low and cancelations cause a whole lot of administrative work for us, especially considering the low budget of this larp. So we will keep your money and use it towards the larp, help someone who can't afford the ticket or donate it to a cool place afterwards.
Covid-19 measures

The little piece of shit called Corona is still around and we anticipate it to still be a thing - to whatever capacity - next year. For this event, that means the following:

We will only allow participants who are vaccinated OR have a medical document attesting that they cannot get vaccinated. This means, if for whatever other reason you are not fully vaccinated at the time of this event, you will not be able to attend. If you have a medical incombatibility with the vaccine and can prove it, you will be asked to supply a negative test - this may be a quicktest or a pcr test or both. We will inform you closer to the event depending on the current situation.

Furthermore, if we have to cancel the event due to Corona, we will sustain the right to not return your money. If we can, we will, but you won't be entitled to a refund. In this case, the most likely outcome will be that we will move the event to a later point and give you preferred access. In that case, you won't have to pay for another ticket, your current ticket will just stay valid.

There might be an update on hygiene regulations and measurements for this event later on. We'll keep you posted as time passes <3
